An Ohio man who used a bomb to maim an Oneida County man was sentenced to 35 years in federal prison on Monday. U.S. District Judge Brenda K. Sannes imposed the sentence on Keith Seppi, 59, of Conneaut, for leaving a bomb in the driveway of Alan Dobransky's driveway at his home in Floyd.
Federal prosecutors said the bomb was built to detonate when it was moved and it went off when Dobransky tried to pick it up. Dobransky survived the May 28, 2016 explosion but was hospitalized for weeks with severe injuries and burns, the U.S. Attorney's office said.
