Two female suicide bombers have attacked a mosque in the north-eastern Nigerian city of Maiduguri, killing 22 worshippers, the army says. The first bomber struck inside the mosque, while the second blew herself up outside as survivors tried to flee, eye witnesses told the BBC.

The Belgian federal prosecutor says a suspect killed by police in a raid linked to the Nov. 13 attacks in Paris was an Algerian man living illegally in Belgium. Thierry Werts, the prosecutor, said an Islamic State group flag, a Salafist Muslim book and a Kalashnikov assault rifle were found in the suspect's home.
