The parents of a man alleged to have travelled to Iraq to join the so-called Islamic State group have been charged with terrorism offences.  Jack Letts, 20, from Oxford, labelled "Jihadi Jack" by some newspapers, is said to have left the UK at 18.

Mr Letts' parents, John and Sally, have been charged with making money available for suspected terrorist activities.  Previously the pair said they sent their son money for food and glasses.  John Letts, 55, of Chilswell Road, Oxford, has been charged with three counts of entering or becoming concerned in an arrangement to make money available, knowing or having reasonable cause to suspect that it may be used for terrorism.
