Regional Information Centers

Regional Information Centers (RICs) consist of a combined body of agencies participating in an established Memorandum of Understanding. (Regional Drug Task Force Model)

The RICs are governed by an Advisory Board that collectively determine the direction & focus of the RIC. MCAC is a voting member at each RIC. Actively participating agencies (at least 1 per. assigned), hold a VOTING seat on the board. RICs serve as part of the "Hub & Spoke" for the MCAC.

Mission

RICs will collect, evaluate, collate, analyze, and disseminate information on individuals and groups suspected of being involved in gang and other illegal activity identified as a priority to the RICs (Advisory Board). The RICs will strive to be the repository for the collection and dissemination of information between local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in an effort to be proactive in initiating criminal investigations.
